The Children of ARCL’s “Narod Ardaljian” Children’s Library have joined the “Millions of Children Were Not Born as a Result of the Armenian Genocide” program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The children were photographed next to the Armenian Genocide memorial in Bikfaya which is located in the premises of the Armenian Monastery of the Catholicate of Cilicia.
The Monument, which was constructed by the efforts of Lebanese Armenian community and the Lebanese Armenian Apostolic Church, was designed and architected by Zaven Hadichian. After the structure was subjected to bombardment during the Lebanese Civil War, which had damaged the lower part of the sculpture, Hovsep Kacherian renovated the sculpture in 1993.
The memorial, which is 5 meters high, is made of bronze and represents the figure of a woman standing with her hands toward the sky.

We are calling on to all the schools and establishments of Armenia and the Diaspora to also partake in this pan-Armenian program. They are only asked to take photos of their children near the Armenian Genocide memorial in their respective cities with a sign expressing their protest.
The goal of this protest is to stigmatize this protest raised by 1.5 million children on the forehead of the Turks.
All the photos are being displayed on the Facebook page called “Millions of children were not born as a result of the Armenian Genocide” dedicated for this program.
