On Tuesday January 26, 2016, The ARCL and The Japanese Embassy in Lebanon signed an agreement that the embassy will provide a financial aid of 54,802 USD to the “Araxi Boulghourjian” Socio-Medical Center.
The meeting took place at the Japanese embassy in Lebanon in the presence of the ambassador Mr. Seiichi Otsuka, the ARCL Regional Executive Chair Talin Kelbashian, ABSMC director Mary Cholakian, Precautions department associate director Verjin Khorshidian.
With this aid, the Center will benefit from the following modern facilities:
- Computed Radiography System
- New elevator for the Center’s building
- 15 Split System air conditioners
On this occasion, the ARCL expresses deep gratitude toward the Japanese Embassy which is for the 5th time cooperating with the Armenian Red Cross of Lebanon and supporting the ARCL’s new achievements with its financial aid.
