On the morning of Saturday January 25, 2014, a Health Day was organized at the ARCL “Araxi Boulghourjian” Socio-Medical Center (ABSMC) where blood sugar, cholesterol and triglyceride (HDL & LDL), H. Pylori, blood pressure, and ECG (heart activity) tests as well as vision, hearing and throat examinations were freely provided to the residents of the region.
The event was organized by the “Pierre Gemayel” and the ARCL “Araxi Boulghourjian” Socio-Medical Centers and in collaboration with the student association of the Phalanges party and the ARF Zavarian student association.
At noon, Armenian Bloc delegated MP Hagop Pakradounian and Phalanges Party MP Sami Gemayel, visited the center. They talked to the people of the community who had come to the center to benefit from the services provided on that day.
Later, ARCL Regional Executive members and the staff of the ABSMC gave MP Gemayel a tour of the center introducing him to the various departments and briefing him about the services the center provides.
Both MPs highly appreciated the activities of the ABSMC.
Many of the regions residents benefited from the free services provided to them on that day.
