Under the patronage of the ARCL Regional Executive (REB) and on the occasion of “The Year of the Armenian Elderly” announced by His Holiness, Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, the Health Committee of the ARCL REB and the Precautionary Department of the “Araxi Boulghourjian” Socio-Medical Center (ABSMC) organized a “Health Day” which took place on June 20th 2014 from 8 am till 12 at noon at the Tenjoukian Hall of the ABSMC.
During this day, the elderly of our community (age 60 and above) received free blood sugar, cholesterol and triglyceride (HDL & LDL), blood pressure, and ECG (heart activity) tests.
Certainly, the healthcare of all of our nationals (the elderly and the needy) is the duty of the ARCL which is always ready for such initiatives for the sake of the nation's prosperity.
