Arshalouyce, the daughter of priest Papazian, was born in 1885 in Sis. She got married in 1914 to Mr. Missak Azirian.
Arshalouyce had lived in Aleppo, then Cyprus, and then again in Aleppo. In 1918, she settled in Beirut, Lebanon.
Her husband offered the people a piece of land to build a center to help the community face the difficult social, economic, and health concerns of the region.
Arshalouyce, who had constantly supported her husband in carrying out his benevolent work to support the needy in the region, became a member of the newly founded ARCL Chapter. Later, the chapter automatically adopted the name of its benefactor
The Arshalouyce Azirian Chapter was established in 1933 in the Nor Sis district of Bourj Hammoud.
The founding board included: Nver Palayian, Maro Hagopian, Takouhi Semizian, Tefolinda Pesayian, Maro Demirdjian, Anitsa Hagopian, Loucaper Geremkezian, A. Svadjian, L. Aghsarkissian, and D. Haroutyounian.
The chapter operates under the umbrella of the “Ishkhan” Committee.
